Accessibility information
- This tour takes place outside in our gardens on a ramped route and is fully wheelchair accessible.
- Let us know in advance if you require a hearing loop for this tour so your guide can have one ready for you.
- There are no toilets outside the building. The nearest accessible toilets are in Hintze Hall and our Zoology Spirit Building in our Orange Zone. We also have a Changing Places toilet in our Blue Zone.
- Let your guide know if you would like to use the available seating along the tour route.
- Guide dogs are welcome at the Museum and on this tour. Water for them is available on request.

Visiting information
- Your tour guide will meet you outside The Garden Kitchen in the Evolution Garden, there will be a sign pointing to this location.
- This tour is delivered outdoors, so dress for the weather.
- The event will begin promptly, we’re unable to let latecomers in after the event has started and can’t give refunds or exchanges to latecomers.
- All ages are welcome but given the content of the tour, we recommend a minimum age of 7.
- Your tour ticket grants you access to the Museum up to one hour before your scheduled tour. If you plan to arrive earlier, you may need to get a general admission ticket or join the walk-in queue.
- Entry to our paid exhibitions is not included in your tour ticket, these tickets must be bought separately.
- Don’t forget to bring an electronic or printed copy of your ticket with you.
- Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
- Ticket price doesn’t include the cloakroom.
